This customers Transcriptor was in beautiful original condition apart from the typical faults given its age.
We needed to re attach the fly wheel
complete re build of the unipivot fluid damped original tone arm
re build the bearing assembly
we make a new rigid arm board completely hidden beneath the original for compliance without compromise to the original appearance
replaced record dampers/seats
re mount and balance motor mount
extensive resonance control (huge design issue for these)
